Mix in some craft activities, a service project, and good friends, mix things up a bit, and you have a fun Friday night at the Neighborhood Community Girl Scout Service Unit Event.
Admission: All donations will go to the Concerns-U Christmas Store. They are in need of new unwrapped toys, new books, new hats, mittens, and gloves. The Christmas Store serves children from birth to the age of 16. The most difficult age to serve is ages 12-16. For these age groups Concerns-U suggests the following gifts: gift certificates to the movies, malls, Wal-mart or Target.
Decorated pillow cases will be donated to Concerns-U for their “Holiday Store” which services needy families in Rensselaer County and Southern Albany County. Pillowcases will be used as gift Bags.
Christmas ornaments will be donated to the Regional Food Bank. The ornaments are then sold at local shopping malls.
